The Trfle is a modern but lighthearted application of a motif borrowed from a vase in Jacques Garcia’s personal collection. This is the rare accent table that can be used fearlessly. The shape creates a sturdy base and a low center of gravity. Whether used as a drink, side, or intimate cocktail table, the shape is the thing. Consider bunching two or three. A trefoil is a stylized cloverleaf. Here, each half is a mirror image of the other, and the cinched waist lightens the form. The simplicity of the shape belies the elegance of the finishes.
